These are no better than the buds that came with my iPod. Immediately replaced them with Koss buds from WalMart at less than $20. They are excellent.

without a doubt these are the best sounding headphones i’ve ever purchased although i’m greatly disappointed in the durability. i use these headphones at my desk at work and ONLY while sitting and working on the computer. within six months of purchasing them the plastic on the inside of the headphones broke next to the screws that hold the metal “slides” in place. i was very impressed with b&o when i brought them back to the store and they replaced them with no questions asked. but here i am, a year after that incident and my headphones are broken in the same spot and just two minutes ago they snapped completely in half when i was simply putting them on to my head.

so my review is mixed: the sound quality, as expected from b&o is phenomenal, although now that my second pair has broken in the same spot(s) with sedentary movement i’m not sure i’ll get these again. it’s a shame though, i really loved these headphones…

While it does seem complicated at times to use and the manual isn’t as helpful, once you get the hang of it, it’s a pretty nifty tool. There are online tutorials that teach you the shortcuts as well. Good buy for the money.

i owned a wep 200 and it worked great but kept falling out of my ear and finally got lost, so i thought i would try the 420 nearly 3 times the price because it had a ear attachment, big mistake, the product works very well with my samsung phone but is worse then the 200 for not staying in your ear or on your head. the ear attachment design is HORRIBLE!!! there is no adjustments for fit, NONE!! the piece that sticks in your ear is too large and wont stay put, the ear hook cant be adjusted and even if you take the chance on bending it to fit better, if you flip it for the other ear it now is bent wrong for the other ear. another irritation is when you try to push the thing back into your ear you invariably click a button that dials someone. my opinion is get the wep 200 at least the ear piece is semi-adjustable, the electronics seem to be the same and its lots cheaper. shame on bang and olusen for putting their name on this poorly designed contraption. i wonder if they even bothered putting this on more then one person when testing it.

I listen to ALL kinds of music(from screamo to classical)
I also own Sony MDR V600’s, Bose Around-Ear’s, Shure Shure SE530 & Skullcandy “Smokin Buds” in-ear headphones and Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones(currently my favorites)
I just got these headphones, and I really like them. Theres very little bass, but the mid range is good, and the highs are exceptional. They are quite stylish, and they feel fine as long as I don’t wear them for over 2-3 hours(which I never do anyways). That said, I think the price is more than it would be if it didn’t have the Bang and Olufsen name on it. Besides a stereo adapter, there are no extras included, which is a little disappointing (it could have benefited from a slip-in case). Also, although the sound is good, you could probably do better with the audio-technical headphones listed above. The construction is a bit thin, and it probably wouldn’t take much to break, but it should be fine as long as your careful.

Anyways, they’re a little overpriced(due to the brand most likely), but the sound is still some of the best for under 150(it sounds better than my Sony and Bose headphones), and they look great and weigh next to nothing.

These are actually cheap for me. I initially balked at the price, but since I am a personal trainer and hardcore exerciser[kettlebells, martial arts, sledge hammer]I had to replace my broken headphones about every six months. [The headphones were not broken as a result of accidental interaction with my equiptment. But merely in the normal give and take of a workout.] This infuriated me. But I had a very informative discussion with the B&O salesman. He pointed out the quality of construction and the three year guarentee. The sound was off the hook. So I took the plundge. That was about five years ago. I’ve had the headphones replaced once by B&O - no questions asked. They are also extremely helpful re giving me those little black pads that fit on the end of the earphones which I occasssionally lose. Frankly dealing with these people is a pleasure and this is a case where you get what you pay for. Also, these is no way I could possibly go back to regular headphones since I am entirely spoiled by the sound quality of these adorable, sturdy instruments.

A pair of earphones that stay put and sound wonderful. They have a really unique adjustment that allows the user to manipulate the fit behind the ears. Also, I can’t say enough about the quality of the sound in these headphones! These earphones exceeded all my expectations.
