I am a working DJ and I bought these headphones exactly a year ago. One side has just recently went out on them. Up to now they were great headphones that I recommended to others. Take into consideration that I use them every weekend and at home when practicing. If you are a working DJ I don’t think the price is bad for a year or so of constant use. I’ve read the other headphone reviews and it seems all of them tend to fall apart when they get the same amount of use. I may end up buying another pair or trying the Pioneer headphones.

The sound coming out of these phones are excellent, good for electronic and rock music. Clear bass and mids. The unfortunate thing is that the rubber glued to the buds eventually lose their grip and begin peeling off after over a ear or 2’s use. The sound quality is much better than Sure’s SE110, and half the price. The rubber tips do a decent isolation job for the price. You will still hear subway noise, but it’ll be 7-15% less bothersome compared to earphones that don’t go in your ear.

I’ve been using the Koss Titanium headphones to make motorcycle helmets speakers for myself and my friends, but lately I’ve had a hard time finding them locally. I decided to try these since I’ve been impressed with the Koss brand. Although they don’t have the inline volume control of the Titaniums, these were so much simpler to modify and install. I simply popped the ear pieces off and the speakers slipped right inside of the speaker pockets inside the helmet. Taped the wires under the liner - done! The music from my iPod is very clear and not distorted when I’m riding and I don’t have to turn the volume wide open to hear them. The price and the quality of these beat any “helmet speakers” I’ve tried in the past.

The Sony MDR-V300 headphones are my almost perfect pair of headphones. They are very comfortable, and the sound that comes out of them is phenomenal. I listen to metal and dance music, and I could not have asked for better sound.I just wish that Sony added a volume control switch to the cord for these headphones.

Great headphones for running. Even a fairly hard tug at the wire won’t pull them from your ears. They also work well for mountain biking, although the over the ear design is a little tricky when wearing a helmet and sunglasses - still the best option I’ve ever found though. Well worth the money.

I have owned these in-the-ear headphones for over 10 years now, and they are the most reliable and maintenance-free ear-buds I’ve seen. The fit is more comfortable and snug than those white, flat-shaped apple ipod earbuds. It would be nice if the cord was a bit longer though. Great investment and I use these regularly when my Sony DRBT50s run out of batteries or I want to let my ears breathe and don’t feel like wearing over-the-head headphones.

So if you’re looking for reliable, maintenance-free, compact ear-buds, these are the way to go!

I very much love these headphones. Sound quality is aswesome. I ordered my first one in June 2007. Its been 1 year and 9 months I am using it almost everyday. I use mostly it for listening to all type of music including meditation & soft music, audio books and holosync meditation. Its very comfortable for long listening hours and fits very easy. I carryed it with me on my vacation trips. Few months back, also bought Bose Quite Comfort 2 Noice Cancellation headphone. I can not use that for long periods, may be because of noice cancellation function. I mostly use Bose QC2 in flights only.

Many times, during night before sleep, I put these on and listen to some relaxing music or holosync meditation CD and its very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately last week I stepped over it while it was in my bed and it broke. I like these so much, I ordered another one today. The only complaint I had from my first one was that its ear cup covering started to wear out from inside in left earcup. But that was after 1 and a half year of continous use in every condition. I am very satisfied with Sony MDR-V600. Its a great product that last for years!
